Senior Full-Stack Developer at Vue School (full-time)

The position

We are looking for a talented and experienced full-stack senior web developer to join our team. You will work on all our projects, implementing new features and optimizing existing codebases. The tasks involve working on both the backend, where we typically use Laravel to create REST APIs, and the frontend, where we build Vue applications using Nuxt. If you are a skilled developer who wants to work on exciting projects from start to finish, we would love to hear from you.

The position is 100% remote and you can apply from anywhere in the world, as long as you have availability to work full-time (8 hours), sharing around 4 hours with the office day of the CET timezone.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (English).
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the following or similar technologies:
  • Frontend: Javascript (Vue.js 2 and 3, Nuxt 2 and 3) and CSS (Tailwind).
  • Backend: PHP (Laravel), MySQL.
• Proven expertise in integrating REST APIs with web applications.
• Strong habit of documenting and unit testing your work.
• Proficiency in optimization techniques, from the database to the page load.
• Capability to refactor and enhance existing codebases.
• Collaborative mindset to communicate with the team, from idea conception to implementation.
• Experience working remotely.
• Strong self-management ability.

Nice to have

• Experience with integrating CRMs, like customer.io.
• Experience with GTM or similar tools.
• Experience managing Linux servers.
• Experience with deployment process using Laravel Forge and Netlify.
• Experience implementing markup from designs on Figma or Zeplin.
• Experience working for e-learning platforms.
