The position

We are looking for a talented Operations Specialist to join our team. You will work directly with the Operations Director supporting all our projects, planning new features and releases as well and you will be supporting the hiring processes. The tasks involve working on multiple projects and different tasks along the organization.

As an Operations Specialist, you will assist in developing and implementing departmental plans and goals, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will also create reports, represent the company as needed, and fulfill duties assigned by the director.

The position is 100% remote and you can apply from anywhere in the world, as long as you have availability to work full-time (8 hours), sharing around 4 hours with the office day of the CET timezone.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary
• Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists and POSs) and distribute them to team members
• Actively participate in the hiring process, including posting and managing job ads, holding screening calls, headhunting, etc.
• Communicate with vendors and negotiate good pricing for bulk swag orders
• Perform research on necessary topics and approaches
• Onboard and train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures
• Manage the team’s day to day tasks
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Requirements

• Project management experience
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven organizational skills, including time management
• Expertise with Notion or similar services
• Expertise with Slack and Async communications
• Ability to work without having meetings
• Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision (excellence in self-management)
• Excellent communication skills (English).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
