As the Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be at the frontline of our sales and growth initiatives, responsible for generating qualified leads, building relationships, and developing sales opportunities across all of BitterBrains’ brands. You’ll engage with potential clients to drive awareness of products like Vue School, InstantDev, Certificates.dev, and LevelUpDX, introducing the unique value each brand offers.
This role is ideal for someone who loves creating new business opportunities, enjoys engaging with tech clients, and is excited to be part of launching and growing industry-leading brands. You’ll have clear targets, a defined sales strategy, and the support of a collaborative team to help you succeed.

- Experience: 3-5 years in sales or business development, preferably in tech or SaaS, with a track record in outbound sales and lead generation.
- Familiarity with CRM Tools: Experience using CRM software and sales tools, with a focus on tracking and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear, persuasive messaging.
- Tools & Platforms: Knowledge of sales tools like Sales Navigator, Seamless.ai, and 6sense is a plus.
- Generate and Qualify Leads
- Conduct research to identify and qualify potential clients, ensuring a steady pipeline across BitterBrains’ brands.
- Use tools like Sales Navigator, Seamless.ai, and 6sense for effective prospecting and qualification.
- Align client needs with our offerings, from developer training with Vue School to certification with Certificates.dev.
- Drive Outbound Sales
- Execute daily cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone, creating personalized, impactful messages.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, promoting each brand’s unique benefits and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Manage outbound targets of 100 personalized messages per week, ensuring consistent engagement.
- Manage the Sales Pipeline
- Keep the CRM system updated with all lead interactions, notes, and next steps.
- Track and report on the progress of leads, focusing on efficient movement through the sales pipeline.
- Work closely with the Business Team Lead to prioritize high-potential leads and strategize on closing them.
- Promote Event Sponsorships
- Drive sponsorship sales for major events like Vue.js Nation, Nuxt Nation, and Frontend Nation.
- Identify and reach out to potential sponsors, presenting the value of connecting with our engaged developer audience.
- Sales Strategy and Support
- Collaborate on refining outreach tactics, messaging, and client materials.
- Assist in creating proposals, presentations, and reports that communicate the value of BitterBrains’ products and partnerships.
- Share insights and trends from client interactions to inform broader sales strategy.
