Are you looking for the perfect UI library for your next Nuxt project? Well, Nuxt UI is worth taking a look at. It is the official UI library built by Nuxt Labs. It's compatible with Tailwind CSS.

It's accessible with Recca UI out of the box. It's also a hundred percent type safe with TypeScript. This makes using the library extremely intuitive. Since it's an official solution, you can also guarantee that it will be well supported for the long run.

It has excellent support for icons, fonts, different color modes or themes, plus even its own dedicated MCP server for helping your AI agents work with the library flawlessly. There are tons of different components for you to use that meet your needs for almost any use case. e. modal overlays, as well as toast messages.

If you're into designing first with Figma, then they have support for Figma with an official Figma kit. If you're looking to get things moving very quickly, they also have some great templates to choose from, such as a changelog template, a portfolio template, which I'm thinking of using on my personal website, actually, it looks so nice, as well as chat, dashboard, and a few more. If you're worried about your site looking the exact same as all the other sites with Nuxt UI, don't you worry about it. It's extremely flexible in terms of design.

We'll show you how to work with the design system and customize it in this course, but you can also see from their different showcases, all the various designs that use Nuxt UI under the hood and look nothing like each other. Besides all the goodies you get from the official library, there's also several community projects built up around Nuxt UI that can be very useful. For example, there is Compodium, which is kind of like a storybook replacement for stories that are auto-generated for your components. I'll show you how to use this later on in the course.

There's a Raycast extension, This is the max spotlight alternative that I myself personally use every single day. And with this extension, I can search Nuxt documentation, search Nuxt UI components, and even Nuxt modules at the click of a button. There's the Figma to code community extension to transform your Figma designs into production ready Nuxt UI components with a single click. Nuxt AutoForm for generating Nuxt UI forms with Zot For Schemas, Nuxt Charts, which by the way is absolutely beautiful, and more.

Best of all, the entire Nuxt UI component library is now available, one hundred percent free and open source. starting with Nuxt UI version four. We'll take a look at how the Nuxt UI design system works, and then we'll crack open the official dashboard template to see more about how the components work in a real-world project, and even code out some of our own additional features so that you can play with Nuxt UI and get a better feel for what it's like to work with it.
