Transcript of the free Vue.js lesson Learning Environment Introwatch the video lesson.

Alright everyone, before we get into the code, let's do a quick tour of the Vue school learning environment and check out all the cool features here. So, right in front of you, you will see the video player where all the magic happens. The video player is equipped with some helpful controls. If you click on this gear icon, you will have access to a couple of settings.

The first one is the quality settings. You can choose from various resolutions depending on your internet speed and preference for a smooth viewing experience. And you can also leave it to auto and the player will determine the right quality according to your network conditions. The other setting is the speed.

In case you are feeling that things are moving a bit too fast or a bit too slow, you can click on the speed option and just take control. And of course, you can also control the sound from here. The next feature is actually one of my favorites. So if you want to take a quick look at the code or browse through some of the course material while keeping an eye on the video, click on the picture in picture icon and the video player will transform into a handy floating window, allowing you to navigate away while still seeing the video.

This is a very handy feature for a multitasking person like me. So the next one is about subtitles. You can enable subtitles from here and ViewSchool also allows you to switch the transcript language if available. js in a language other than English.

And also you can view the entire video transcript from here. It isn't just for reading, click on the specific line in the transcript and the video will automatically jump to that corresponding section. That said, for the video player features, let's explore some of the ViewSchool cool features designed to improve your learning experience. The first one is to download the video.

So if you're traveling or having some limited internet access, feel free to download your preferred video quality and you can just watch the video later. And you can download the video transcript as well. And you will have a text file containing the entire lesson content. You just have to click here.

Many lessons come with downloadable source code. This allows you to experiment with the code yourself or compare it with what she coded. And to have the source code, you just need to click on this one. The next feature is the commenting section.

ViewSchool encourages active participation. This section allows you to ask questions, share insights, and interact with fellow learners and instructors. I would love to see you create new comments, reply to existing ones, and participate in a discussion. and you can keep track of your progress by manually marking lessons as watched.

This way you can easily track your progress and pick up right where you left off. That wraps it for this video and I hope this quick overview equips you with the necessary tools to navigate the Vue school learning environment and have a fantastic learning experience. And now that you're familiar with your surroundings, let's get your local development environment set up and we will do just that in the next video.
